About Gail and Dragon Drawn...

Hello, my name is Gail Hodgetts, and I wish you a very warm welcome to DragonDrawn.com!

This website is the online home for the fantasy artwork I started creating purely as a hobby a few years ago. Now, in 2021, I've finally begun a journey to share my original creations with others!

All the artwork available is my own, with each illustration created using a mixture of watercolours, various inks, and pencils too (both graphite and colour).

Each picture is drawn entirely from my imagination, and the techniques for producing them have been inspired by the tips and tricks of many other artistic souls, plus of course a huge helping of trial and error!

You'll also find a growing collection of colouring-in templates available, as I gradually convert my work to line-art versions for those who just want to enjoy adding extra splashes of colour to the world.
