Why Is Lord Of The Blue Moon Green?…

As you can probably gather I love dragons and bringing them to life through the creative process is so exciting!

This got me thinking…

How could I share some of this experience with you? What could I do to help inspire others to pick up some pencils, pens or paint and get creative?

I know from personal experience that it's not easy to take those first steps because many of us have been programmed over time to think "I can't draw", "I don't think I have the talent to paint", "that's too difficult for me"...

The truth is you don't need 'talent' - just a desire to learn and have fun expressing yourself on paper. And things aren't hard to do once you find easier ways to do them and apply a bit of practice!

However, it's all about taking those first steps - and what better, easier way than to start with splashing around some colour onto some ready-made templates? That's what led me to create line-art versions of my pictures for you to colour in.

The great thing is, you get to choose your own colour scheme, you get to experiment artistically, and hopefully along the way you’ll get to find and unleash your own creativity too!

So, Lord of the Blue Moon is indeed blue in my original picture - but in your version he can be any combination of colours you like! If you haven't done so already, why not print him out, grab some pens or pencils (and a relaxing mug of tea or coffee) and hop on over to the video of me colouring him in for a few helpful tips?

If you get some enjoyment from doing so i'll be over the Blue moon :)

Oh, by the way...

I'm getting some 'Golden Dragonlings' created for anyone (adult or child alike) who wants to send me their proud coloured creation of Lord Of The Blue Moon for my Dragonlings Gallery.

More info on that very soon...
