You'd be forgiven thinking these of Sea Dragons had managed to drown, as their appearance as prints to buy is a bit overdue!
But finally, they're here: a pair of Pisces dragons, embracing all 12 signs of the zodiac thanks to the all-encompassing nature of their Piscean astrological origins.

Have you noticed the underwater sun rays? How some of them reflect behind the dragons and some of them shine in front?...
It was actually the first time I looked at light in this way, which is why creating this Sea Dragon artwork was such an invaluable and challenging endeavour...
My artwork often starts with the background first, however “Pisces” needed a different approach, and was painted in a clockwise direction colouring in each light ray as I went along….
The suns rays needed to be a lighter shade compared to the rest of the picture, so I mixed some extra white to the paints and inks.
The whole painting process was like doing a jigsaw puzzle, and took me a long time to complete. However, it was worth every single second, especially when you start to see the picture taking shape, how fun is that?!
