Where does all the time go?
Suddenly we're right into the first week of November, and not that far away from Christmas...so, it's time to get my first yuletide picture released as a product:
Surprise! Not a dragon or some strange mythical creature?
Well, at the time I just fancied creating a christmassy picture still based on a classic but powerful creature. A strong, elemental reindeer harnessing the power of the moon seemed to fit the bill nicely.
There are two pretty distinct parts to this Christmas reindeer - the painted background using an array of dark blues, reds and, of course, white for the snow plus the moon (and also for lightening the moon rays):
...and then there's the reindeer, for which I extensively used coloured pencils - including the antlers and baubles:
